Meets: 1x week for 1 hour, plus asynchronous work

Description:

In this all-ages visual art class, students are encouraged to pursue their own artistic voice while experimenting with new ideas. They will learn about creativity around the world as they build their own portfolio!

Each week will bring new skills and projects to encourage students to experiment and grow. We will work together on different types of subject matter and artistic elements like color and movement.

Students will leave this course with the skills to create and present their own art, and a greater appreciation for others’ artistic voices.

Materials:

We know every homeschool family has access to different resources. Therefore, each project can be completed in a variety of ways. No one will be required to purchase specialty equipment. Students are encouraged to try new things, but can use whatever tools are at their disposal! Virtual assistance can be provided in a variety of media.
